For those who don't know, Laurie was struck by a falling tree branch Tuesday, June 23, 2009 in the backyard of her parents house. She was rushed to University of Iowa Hospitals and underwent a 6 hour surgery on Wednesday June 24th. She's now on a long road to recovery!
